Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- 1. Preheat Oven 375F
- 2. Measure dry ingredients and put in a small bowl. Set aside.
- 3. in the bowl of stand mixer or a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy and pale in color about three to four minutes. Stop to scrape down the sides of the bowl and the bottom of the bowl with a rubber spatula at least once.
- 4. Add vanilla extract
- 5. Add eggs one at a time and mix until well combined.
- 6. Add dry ingredients to butter sugar mixture.
- 7. Stir dry ingredients into dough until just combined.
- 8. Add semi-sweet chocolate chips and stir to combine.
- 9. Using a cookie scoop, portion 12 balls of dough onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
- 10. Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown
- 11. Let rest on baking sheet for two to three minutes before moving to a cooling rack.
- 12. Eat!
